The Laboratory for Attosecond Physics spans a broad network of bases in and around Munich. An international team of physicists affiliated with LAP collaborates with scientists from several faculties of both Munich Universities to advance ultrafast and high-field laser science and use the emerging technologies for applications in various sub-fields of physics, chemistry, biology and medicine.

This cross-disciplinary research at the cutting edge of laser science offers unique training and research opportunities to students, graduates, and young researchers at any stage of their career. We offer a great variety of exciting projects for BSc, MSc theses, and practical training during studies towards these degrees. Graduates and postdoctoral researchers with outstanding qualifications may have the chance for pursuing the PhD degree and take charge of research project in one of LAP’s research areas, respectively.
