Legal structure:
LAP is a joint non-profit research laboratory of the MPQ and the LMU. The MPQ is affiliated with the Max Planck Society which is organised as a registered society. The institutes of the Max Planck Society are relatively autonomous as far as organisation and research are concerned, but they have no legal capacity of their own. This also applies for this website.
