team — Does light have the potential to become the key technology of the 21th century? There is a good chance that this will happen since the limits of what light can truly do have by no means yet been reached. A movie on BRalpha-Campus (broadcasting time 3 June, 5.15 p.m.) gives an introduction on the work of the Munich-Centre for Advanced Photonics. Elisabeth Bothschafter, Annkatrin Sommer and Stefan Karsch describe for what light is useful in their research and what might be possible with the laser in the future. The movie can be accessed on the internet under the following link: "BRalphaCampus".
