Nine »Photons« run for the good cause

team — For four years in a row our running team »The Photons« competed in the worldwide Wings for Life world run. At 1 pm sharp the race started in Munichs Olmpiapark. Nine highly motivated »Photons« crossed the starting line for the run for the good cause. Together with more than 100.000 runners from all over the world in 203 locations they ran for those who can’t. All entry fees from the charity run are donated to spinal cord research. Runners and wheelchair users went together on the racetrack. The atmosphere was special, a lot of spectators cheered and some of the runners cheered the others with singing. The race begins at the same time worldwide and there is no finish line, as athletes run until they are caught up by the chaser car. The car starts half an hour after the runners and drives at a speed of 15 km/h until it has “caught” all the runners. The Photons-Team together ran 139 kms for the good cause.
