Ultrafast photonics - from students for students

team — Around 40 students from International Max Planck Research Schools (IMPRS) around Germany attended a special Max Planck Centre for Attosecond Science (MPC-AS) workshop at the Max Planck Institute of Quantum Optics in June 2015. Organized by Dr. Eleftherios Goulielmakis and his team, the workshop was focused on the theme of ultrafast photonics. Participants attended talks by well-respected scientists in the field of ultrafast photonics, and for the first time, the students were able to participate in so-called »experimental sessions« given by fellow students.
